Two Red Raiders record hat tricks in 7-3 win over Falcons

Uniontown had two players record hat tricks to defeat Brownsville, 7-3, on Saturday in non-section play at Bill Power Stadium.

The Red Raiders (0-12, 1-15) had a 4-2 lead at halftime, and outscored the Falcons, 3-1, in the second half.

The Falcons’ Nate Kovscek scored at 26:21 of the first half after receiving a pass from Nick Climes, and teammate Thomas Ruffcorn converted a penalty kick at 1:18.

Climes set up Dustin Lindmen for Brownsville’s tally in the second half at 15:29.

The Falcons’ Derrick Tarpley made 12 saves in the season finale.

Brownsville finished the season at 5-6-1 in Section 3-AA action and 7-8-1 overall.
