The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Coal Hill Tavern for allegedly operating with an expired permit and allowing smoking where smoking is prohibited.

DUI
State police charged Marina Stafford, 52, of Uniontown with DUI after she was stopped for speeding at Big Six Road and Dry Knob Road at about midnight Sept. 20. Police said she was driving under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and cocaine.

Retail theft
State police said a 22-year-old woman stole about $69 worth of merchandise from Walmart at about 11:20 a.m. Thursday.

Two-vehicle accident
State police said driver Melanie M. White, 53, of Fredericktown hit driver Jay M. Black, 58, of Pittsburgh while she was turning left from Laurel Road onto State Route 481 at about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20. No injuries were reported.
