Violet High, 91, of California, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in LaFayette Manor in Uniontown. She was born June 22, 1932, to the late Clarence and Harriet Jones High in Brooklyn, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Clarence Lee High, Daniel Lee High, and Regina E. Alexander; her twin sister, Daisy Williams; and sister, Lorraine Giles.
She leaves behind her children, Lorraine E. High-Cadlett, Sheila A. High, Henry N. Hamilton, David A. Hamilton, and Darren J. Whitehurst; her brother, Clarence High, Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Sleep in peace Violet, until we all meet again.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Saturday, February 10, in LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown.
