Sandra Sue Hardesty
Sandra Sue Hardesty, 55, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Mon General Hospital.
She was born April 29, 1968, in Weirton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alton and Lois Tennant John.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas and Johnny John; sister, Kathy Wayt; and her granddaughter, Shelby Barnhart.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by husband, Marc Hardesty; daughters, Angela Rutan of North Braddock, and Ashley Rutan of Morgantown; sons, Andy Rutan of Waynesburg, and Michael Rutan of Masontown; grandchildren, Page, Brianna, Mikey, Jr., Braiden, Grayson, Dalton, Ayden, Precious and Mabel; sisters, Mary Brown, Kimmy Brletich, Kayda Lipscomb, Barb Yaworski; and brothers; Danny John and David John.
Family and friends were received in the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, from 12 to 3 p.m., the hour of service in the funeral home chapel, Monday, February 12, with Pastor Rose Bircher officiating.
Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris.
