Martha G. Stickle Darkangelo, 82, of Perryopolis, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born May 3, 1941, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Beatrice Lucky Stickle.
A resident of Perryopolis for the past 17 years, Mrs. Darkangelo was retired from McCords Gasket Company, where she worked as an assembly line worker.
She loved to read and enjoyed watching The Gilded Age series and shows especially about the 1400s.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Darkangelo of Perryopolis; two grandchildren, Geoffrey Darkangelo, Dakoda and Matt Ritchie; two great- grandchildren, Kaitlyn Juniper Darkangelo, Liam Darkangelo; three brothers, Charlie Stickle of Uniontown, James Stickle of Uniontown, William Stickle; a sister, Belva Nixon of Uniontown; and granddog, Saxon Ritchie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse Darkangelo; daughter-in-law, Melony R. Darkangelo; and two brothers, Thomas and John Stickle.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, January 19, in PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME and CREMATIONS LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty Street, Perryopolis, 724-736-2515.
