Jack E. Holt, Sr., 67, of Brownsville, was called home to re-unite with his loving wife Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born January 25, 1956, in Brownsville, a son of the late Oleta Linderman Holt and Harry Holt.

Jack was a life-long truck driver. He played the drums in several country music bands, and was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed camping, was a big Steelers fan, loved watching Westerns, and his pride and joy was his grandkids, Dalton Holt and Gage Rogers. Jack was a faithful bingo player at South Brownsville Fire Department.

Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances “Cookie” Holt, who together will celebrate their 50-year anniversary this July in Heaven; and his stepmother Patricia Holt.

Left to cherish his memory are his two children, Jack E. Holt, Jr. (Jessica), and Amanda Martin (Barry); grandsons, Dalton Holt and Gage Rogers; his best furry friend, Oreo; brothers, Harry Holt, Jr. and Danny Williams; sisters, Joan Morris, Paula Fike and Patty Lyttle; special nephew, Patrick Burnsworth.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, January 27, in Allison #2 Fire Hall.

Arrangements in the care of SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, Brownsville.

In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate any monetary or food donations be made to The Fayette Friends of Animals, in Jack’s memory.
