Helen Mascella Bobak

Helen Mascella Bobak, 95, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 21, 2024, in her home, with loving family by her side. She was born February 20, 1928, in Addison.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Stephen Mascella and Sophia Sabula Mascella; husband, Joseph John Bobak, Jr.; and three siblings, Margaret Dursa, Steven Mascella, and Andrew Mascella.
Helen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Walnut Hill Road. She was a very loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed reading the newspaper every day. Helen loved traveling to the Casinos to play the slots and enjoyed playing her favorite card game, 500 Rummy, at home.
Surviving are three daughters, Bernadette Sidor (Richard) of Carmichaels, Patricia Mikula of Rostraver Township, and Darla Pegg (Robert) of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Richard Sidor, Jr., Joseph Sidor (April), Brian Mikula (Sherri), Kelly Blaze (Thomas), Eric Mikula, Ursula Pegg, Amanda Chadwick (Temple), and Erica Pegg; 10 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Dolores Hollister (James) of Summerfield, Fla., and John Joseph Mascella (Priscella) Chesterland, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 25, and until 9:15 a.m. Friday, January 26, when prayers of transfer will be said, in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Walnut Hill Road. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
