Carol Ann Beatty, 84, of California, died peacefully, with her family near her side on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
She was born on Saturday, December 23, 1939, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late George and Frances Sholtis Pordash.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Beatty; the Pordash sisters: Eleanor Timlin, Gerry Platter and Marion Shelling; and nephew, Geoff Timlin.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Michael Beatty and wife, Erika, of Virginia Beach, Va. and Darlene Walters and husband, Kevin of California, Pa.; and sister, Dolores Grimes. Also surviving are two grandsons, Nicholas and Luke Beatty; her best friend, Lacey Petrucci; numerous nieces: Lisa Petrucci (Dale), Valorie Orlandi, Charlee Petrucci, Julie Shelling and Debbie Lindsay; nephews: Patrick Grimes, Larry Grimes, Ronnie Shelling (God Child), Spencer Petrucci and Eddie Timlin.
Friends will be received in THE MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, and until 11 a.m. on Friday, February 2nd, when funeral services will begin with Reverend Amory Merriman officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
