Hazel Arlene Barnes Moore
formerly of Uniontown
Hazel Arlene Barnes Moore, 92, formerly of Uniontown, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Elison Assisted Living Facility in Marietta, Ohio, with her family by her side.
Arlene was a secretary at The Third Presbyterian Church retiring after 25 years of service. She was a devoted choir member and enjoyed bowling in the church league with her late husband, Irvin, and the fellowship that it provided. After retirement, she volunteered with Amedisys hospice.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children: daughter, Donna Linderman; and son, Richard Moore and wife Mona Richardson Moore; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, the time of a service, with the Reverend Laura Blank officiating, Saturday, February 3, in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA 15468. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
The family wishes to extend their gratefulness for the loving care given to Arlene by the staff of Elison Assisted Living/Memory Care for the past eight years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to The Amedisys Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
