According to CNN, riots began in Oakland regarding the Eric Garner story and the failure of the courts to prosecute the officer responsible for his death.
On Monday, Nov. 17, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard in advance of a grand jury decision. The decision will regard whether or not a white police officer will be charged in shooting a black 18-year-old.
Early on the morning of Nov. 10, a suicide bomber incognito as a student in the school’s uniform detonated an explosive that killed 47 people and injured 79 others, according to the USA Today.
