Coroner called to hit-and-run accident in Robinson Township

At least one person died in a hit and run accident in Robinson Township Monday afternoon. According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, the accident occurred at about 3 p.m. on the ramp from Route 22 East to the Southern Beltway. A vehicle hit a pedestrian and kept driving, the supervisor said. According to 911, the Washington County coroner was called to the scene. State police are investigating. More information was not immediately available.
