Brownsville man accused of robbery

A Brownsville man is accused of robbing another man of a video game system. State police said Emir M. Calloway, 23, agreed to pay $400 for a PlayStation 5 Isaac Eckley was selling on Facebook Marketplace. When the men met at a Brownsville gas station on Dec. 11 to complete the transaction, police alleged Calloway brandished a handgun, threatened to kill Eckley, and stole the white bag containing the PlayStation. After Calloway walked away, Eckley called 911. Police said multiple surveillance cameras captured Calloway carrying a white bag back to his home on Cemetery Road. Charleroi mother facing charges for poor living conditions

A Charleroi mother is facing charges for poor living conditions after her husband was arrested over the weekend. Roldy Noel, 27, was charged Monday by Charleroi police with two felonies of endangering the welfare of children. Jackson Alexis, Noel's husband, was arrested Saturday following a medical call to their home in the 500 block of Rear McKean Avenue. Charging documents allege that while police were at the home, Noel's and Alexis' daughter used a bucket to go the bathroom. Officers found the home had no running water, a broken toilet, a shower filled with brown water and garbage piled up in a corner. Saltlick Twp. official found to have committed ethics violations

A Saltlick Township supervisor was found to have violated state law by using his position for the material benefit of himself and his business, the State Ethics Commission found. Timothy Coffman was ordered to pay $4,982.64 to the township, and file complete and accurate financial statements for the years 2020 to 2024, according to a release from the commission. He is also barred from receiving any payment from the township as reimbursement.
