Quilting for a cause

Norma Plavic and Brice Rush hold up Plavic’s quilt, “Greene County Mining,” featuring historic images from Rush’s collection of mining photos and memorabilia. In conjunction with the upcoming Bituminous King Coal Show, this unique quilt, along with a patriotic afghan by Linda Rush and queen size Carpenter’s Star quilt by Ella Haddox, will be on display in Carmichaels Fire Hall before being raffled off to benefit Carmichaels Area Senior Center Activity Group at St. Hugh Social Hall.
