Community Foundation accepting scholarship applications
Students pursuing post-secondary education during the 2026-27 school year are invited to apply for scholarships offered through the Community Foundation of Fayette County.
Applicants will complete a universal application to determine their eligibility for various opportunities. A list of matching scholarships will display; each will have additional questions and must be submitted individually. There are also four stand-alone applications that must be applied for outside of the universal application.
In all, there are 51 scholarships to be awarded based on academic achievement, community service, financial need, extracurricular participation, area of study, school preference, and other criteria. The Garbart Memorial Scholarship is a new addition this year, supporting a student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who shows financial need, with preference to engineering or education majors.
Last year, nearly 100 students received scholarships totaling more than $250,000.
Applications must be submitted by April 10 at 5 p.m. via the scholarships page at www.cffayettepa.org.
