Soroptimist International continues ‘Period Positive Campaign’
Soroptimist International of Fayette County continues its Period Positive Campaign to eliminate period poverty as an obstacle to education.
According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 4 students still has difficulty accessing menstrual hygiene products in 2026. To meet this need, Soroptimist of Fayette County has once again partnered with local businesses and churches to host donation sites for period products. Many of this year’s community partners also served as donation sites during previous Period Positive Campaigns. Their continued support, along with that of new partners, is vital to providing thousands of hygiene products to Fayette County teens.
Donations will be accepted through Dec. 29, and all donated products will be distributed to Fayette County high schools.
