Cabbage roll dinner
St. Katherine Drexel Parish will hold its Sunday Supper Cabbage Roll Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Drexel Hall, 208 Abromaitis Street, Bentleyville. The dinner features home-style cabbage rolls prepared fresh by church volunteers. Each $15 dinner includes two large cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, corn, and a roll with butter. Dine-in service begins at 11 a.m., with meals available until sold out or 2 p.m. Take-out orders are also available, featuring curbside pick-up. Early orders may be placed starting at 10:30 a.m. by calling 724-209-1370, extension 424. Quantities are limited, so ordering early is recommended. In addition to the main meal, optional mini desserts are available for $4 each, including Chocolate Cream Mini Pie and White Almond Raspberry Mini Bundt Cake.
Fall rummage sale
United Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will hold its annual Fall Rummage Sale Thursday, Oct. 1, through Saturday, Oct. 3, at the church, located at 499 E. Malden Drive, Coal Center. Sale hours are: Thursday: 4 to 7 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. Most items during the sale will be offered on a “name your own price” basis. Donations for the rummage sale are currently being accepted at the church during regular office hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Loads of Love
Pleasant View Presbyterian Church (533 Royal Road, Smock) is sponsoring “Loads of Love” at the Mod Laundromat (503 Union St., Brownsville, across from the DQ) on the last Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. Those who need help paying for laundry costs are invited to do their laundry at this time.
Osteoporosis support
Soroptimist of Fayette County will sponsor an Osteoporosis Support Group meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m. at Third Presbyterian Church, 425 Union St., Uniontown. Dr. John Sunyecz will present “Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment,” offering practical information about protecting bone health, recognizing risk factors, discussing screening with a health care professional, and understanding available treatment options. The meeting is intended for people living with osteoporosis, family members, caregivers, and anyone interested in maintaining strong bones.
Arts program
Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) invites teens to participate in its ongoing Crafty Conversations program, held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. The free sessions offer teens a chance to express themselves artistically. Radio club
The Uniontown Amateur Radio Club holds its meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 7 p.m. at the club building, 433 Old Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown. Women’s meeting
Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville is holding a weekly meeting for women and teenage girls to discuss issues like depression, grief and eating disorders. Meetings are on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Addiction recovery
On Tuesdays (note day change), from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the addiction recovery ministry There is Hope will be held at Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville. Prayer group
Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church, 200 Thornton Road, Brownsville, is holding a weekly prayer group on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. The public is invited.
