Two people injured in Uniontown shooting

Uniontown police are investigating after two men were injured in a Monday morning shooting.

According to Uniontown police public information officer Tom Kolencik, police were called to the area of Byers Market on Connellsville Street at about 9:30 a.m.

The men, who police have not identified, were shooting at one another. Kolencik said police are still working to determine why.

Both were taken from the scene to WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. Information on their conditions was not immediately available.
