Riveters center back Natalia DiSora, who has familial ties to Masontown and Uniontown, will return for a second season in Pittsburgh during the summer. DiSora, who recently finished her high school career at Upper St. Clair, is a Wake Forest commit.

Before Natalia DiSora heads south to Wake Forest to begin her collegiate career, the Upper St. Clair product will play a second season for the Pittsburgh Riveters SC in 2026.

DiSora, 18, has lived in Upper St. Clair her entire life, but the senior at Upper St. Clair High School is a frequent visitor to the Uniontown area, as her grandmother, Elaine (Franks) Agostini, grew up in Masontown and currently lives in Hopwood, while her mother, Lisa Agostini DiSora, graduated from Laurel Highlands High School. DiSora’s father, Mark, attended Ringgold High School.

The Riveters, a women’s pre-professional team, earned the Great Forest Division championship and a USL W League playoff appearance in its inaugural season last year.

DiSora played a huge factor in the team’s success, as she was the opening-day starter at center back as a then 17-year-old. DiSora played all but 90 minutes of the season. She missed one match all season, but was excused due to receiving a call-up to the U.S. Women’s Under-18 National Team camp.

DiSora is not the only returning player from the WPIAL, as Sabrina Bryan, Piper Coffield and Bella Vozar also return.

“It’s great to welcome back Sabrina, Bella, Piper and Natalia for the 2026 season,” said Riveters head coach Scott Gibson in a press release provided by the club. “Our staff are very familiar with each of them who came through our Academy system and were a part of our inaugural season’s success.

“We now have a strong foundation of players that will return to our team and only make it stronger. All of the players are leaders, and we are excited to continue to build our culture around them.”

Bryan, 26, is the most experienced of the four returners after earning All-America honors at Hofstra University. The forward from Cecil dealt with an early season injury to start her career in Pittsburgh, but she scored three goals and an assist over the final five regular-season games.

Coffield, 20, played every minute in nine of 11 matches, and served as the team’s captain in five of those matches when Brownsville native and University of North Carolina senior Tessa Dellarose was playing in the TST and nursing an injury.

The junior defender at Indiana University had her season cut short due to injury, but is eager to return to Highmark Stadium next year.

Vozar, 20, played 928 minutes and appeared in all 11 matches for the Riveters last season. The right back was the first Pittsburgh player to earn USL W League Team of the Month honors when she was selected last May.

The graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School is currently in her junior season for American University, where she was team MVP last year.

The Riveters will have more confirmed players for their second season announced in the coming weeks. The team’s next open tryouts will be held on Nov. 29.

The USL W League prepares players for the opportunity to play at the next level, which will most-likely change the roster from year-to-year.

Dellarose is still in the midst of her senior year playing for the Tar Heels, but the chances of her signing a professional contract are very high.

Abi Hugh signed a professional contract in mid-July with the Apollon Ladies FC in Limassol, Cyprus. The former Marshall and North Carolina State product was selected as the Great Forest Division Player of the Year and made the second team of the USL W League in her lone season with Pittsburgh last spring and summer.

Hugh played in high school for St. Joseph Central Catholic in Huntington, W.Va., but has familial ties to Fayette County, as her dad, Chris, attended high school at Tri Valley (now Albert Gallatin) and her mom, Tammy, is a Laurel Highlands graduate. Hugh’s grandfather is Robert McKnight, a current resident of Washington County, but a Uniontown native.
