Two charged with homicide of Uniontown man
Two Fayette County residents are charged with the homicide of a 71-year-old man found dead near Uniontown Sunday.
Terry Newland, 58, and Alysha Riggans, 30, both lived with Ralph Brown in Uniontown, Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele said in a Facebook post Monday.
Brown’s body was found Sunday near the railroad tracks on Kerr Street in North Union Township.
Newland and Riggins both face charges of criminal homicide, abuse of corpse and tampering with physical evidence. Riggins is also charged with theft and accessing a device used to obtain service.
Both were arraigned early Monday morning and sent to the Fayette County jail without bond.
