Warner maintains significant lead over Mari in 52nd District race

Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Perryopolis) has solidified his substantial lead over Democratic challenger James Mari in the 52nd Legislative District race with 41 out of 80 Fayette County precincts reporting and 244 out of 306 Westmoreland County districts in the county reporting.

The unofficial tally in Fayette and Westmoreland counties shows Warner has received 6,588 votes so far to Mari’s 3,464.

Warner is seeking his second term as state representative.

The 52nd District includes the city of Connellsville, Bullskin, Dunbar, Lower Tyrone, Menallen, North Union, Perry, Saltlick and Upper Tyrone townships; and Dawson, Dunbar, Everson, Perryopolis, South Connellsville and Vanderbilt boroughs, as well as the Fayette County portion of Seven Springs borough. It also includes Scottdale borough and part of East Huntingdon Township in Westmoreland County.
