‘Wings and Wheels’ cruises into Greene County Airport
Greene County Airport’s “Wings and Wheels” event will take flight Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greene County Airport in Waynesburg.
Hosted by SOAR (Support Our Aviation Resources) of Greene County, “Wings and Wheels” celebrates transportation history with historic aircraft, vintage trucks and motorcycles, and a classic car show featuring restored automobiles.
The event also features flight simulators, plane train rides, vendors and more.
Children aged 8 to 17 can register for a free Young Eagles flight over Waynesburg. Space is limited. Per Experimental Aircraft Association rules, parents or legal guardians may not accompany children during the Young Eagles flight but must remain at the airport to sign the final registration form.
