‘Annie’ staged at State Theatre
The sun’ll come out tomorrow and the classic musical “Annie” will be at the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Uniontown starting today.
Presented by the Main Street Theatre Company, “Annie” has been presented thousands of times around the world by innumerable theater companies since its debut on Broadway almost 50 years ago. Based on the “Little Orphan Annie” comic strip, it contains the songs “It’s a Hard Knock Life,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “Tomorrow.”
