‘Lawrence of Arabia’ to be shown at Dormont movie theater

Considered by critics and movie enthusiasts to be one of the greatest movies ever made, “Lawrence of Arabia” is being shown in 70mm at the Row House Hollywood theater in Dormont Saturday and Sunday.
Released in 1962, “Lawrence of Arabia” chronicles the adventures of T.E. Lawrence, an English officer who tries to lead fractious Arab tribes to battle Turkish forces during World War I. Clocking in at an epic 228 minutes, it stars Peter O’Toole, Omar Sharif and Claude Rains. It won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
