Internationally recognized jazz flutist to appear at Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild

Internationally recognized jazz flutist and composer Jamie Baum, will be at the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild in Pittsburgh Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Baum has been listed in the esteemed Down Beat critics polls every year since 1999, and has worked with such artists as Randy Brecker, Richie Beirach, Roy Hargrove and others.

Baum’s seventh album, “What Times Are These” appeared on several “Best of 2024” lists. For the album, Baum composed material highlighting the words of renowned female poets, reflecting personal losses, their collective experience of COVID-19, and current issues.
