Pittsburgh Area Theatre Organ Society returns with ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’
The Pittsburgh Area Theatre Organ Society (PATOS), is returning after a lengthy hiatus with a screening of the 1923 Lon Chaney silent film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at Keystone Oaks High School in Dormont this Saturday.
Accompanying the film will be organist and historian Clark Wilson, who has a 35-year career as house organist at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus, Ohio. Wilson will be at the console of the historic three-manual, 19-rank Wurlitzer theater pipe organ originally installed in the Prospect Theatre in New York.
Showtime is at 7 p.m. For information, go online to pittsburghtheatreorgan.com.
