Still not quite in the Halloween spirit yet? Then watching the original “Nosferatu” should do the trick.

Originally released in 1922, “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” is considered one of the greatest German silent films and one of the creepiest ever made. It’s based on Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” and stars Max Schreck and was directed by F.W. Murnau. It will be screened at the Harris Theater in downtown Pittsburgh Thursday at 7 p.m.

It will be accompanied by Pittsburgh pianist and music historian Tom Roberts.
