Dwight Yoakam to play at Timber Rock Amphitheater
Forty years since the release of his first album. “Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc.,” Dwight Yoakam has enjoyed a varied career as a singer and songwriter, an actor and filmmaker and a radio show host.
Just about a month away from his 70th birthday, Yoakam remains a steady presence on the road and will be at the Timber Rock Amphitheater in Farmington Friday. The North Carolina singer-songwriter who goes by the name Wesko and singer Melissa Quinn Fox will open the show.
Yoakam’s most recent album, “Brighter Days,” was released in 2024. He also hosts a radio show on his own SiriusXM channel. His most recent acting work has included a part on the Amazon Prime series “Goliath” with Billy Bob Thornton.
