Eva Kolat
Eva Kolat, 93 of Clarksville, died Sunday, October 22, 2017 peacefully at home.
She was born January 4, 1924 in LaBelle, a daughter of the late Mike and Eva Wozny Andrusky.
Eva was a homemaker and lived most all her life in Clarksville where she was a member of St. Thomas R.C. Church.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially her grandchildren, who she helped raise.
On August 10, 1946 she married Joseph M. Kolat, who died July 13, 1990.
Surviving are seven children, Joe (Judy) Kolat of Rices Landing; Rose (Bill) Efaw of Waynesburg, Eva Kolat of Greensboro, Dorothy Matiysic of Carmichaels, Mary Kay Kolat of Carmichaels, Cathy (Chris) Watson of Carmichaels, Barbara McCollum of Clarksville, with whom Eva had made her home for the last 27 years; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Deceased is a grandson, Jason Kolat and 11 siblings.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Marcellus R.C. Church, 1340 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, with Fr. J. Francis Frazer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Deacon Bert Kuhns officiating.
