Victoria Repasy

Victoria Repasy, 89, of Garrettsville, Ohio, and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, April 10, 2002, in Geauga Regional Hospital, Ravenna, Ohio. Victoria was born in Brownsville, Pa., on December 8, 1912, daughter of the late Steven Repasy and Anna Stanko Repasy of Brownsville, Pa.

Victoria graduated from Brownsville High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption in Brownsville, Pa.

After graduation she relocated to the Cleveland, Ohio, area where she worked at TRW for 29 years as an Inspector in the Piston Department of the Racing Division.

Upon retirement she lived in Lorain, Ohio, and then in Garrettsville, Ohio.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Imri, Steven, Victor and George Repasy, and sisters, Mary Repasy and Cecilia Repasy Melega.

She is survived by her brother, Joseph B. Repasy, Brownsville, Pa.; many loving nieces and nephews including locally Joetta, Chuck and Bradley Britvich all of Brownsville, Pa., and Karen M. Repasy, Grindstone, Pa.

Friends will be received in the GREEN FUNERAL HOME, State Route 44 at Pioneer Trail, Mantua, Ohio, today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 15, until 10 a.m.

A Funeral Mass follows at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, Parkman, Ohio.

Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio.
