Shirley Lee McElroy Bell
Shirley Lee McElroy Bell, 52, of Callaway, Florida, and formerly of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Sunday, December 15, 2002 in Gulf Coast Medical Center, Panama City, Florida. She was born March 28, 1951 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Jesse McElroy Sr. of Lemont Furnace, Pa., and the late Doris Hawkins McElroy.
She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar, Pa.
In addition to her father, Jesse McElroy Sr. of Lemont Furnace, Shirley is survived by her husband, Thomas P. Bell of Dunbar Township, Pa.; three daughters: Christina M. Ober and her husband, Gregg N. Ober, of Vanderbilt, Pa., Heather D. Martucci and her husband, Vito Martucci III, of Connellsville, Pa., and Brandi J. Hutter and her husband, Joseph S. Hutter, of Columbia, Tennessee; a son, Joey Chidester of Callaway, Florida; eight grandchildren: Brittany Ober, Garrett Ober, Bret Martucci, Vito Martucci IV, Jaden Martucci, Aerial Hutter, Nicholas Hutter, and Joseph Chidester; a brother, Jesse McElroy Jr. of Connellsville; her stepmother, Helen McElroy of Lemont Furnace; and her father-in-law, Thomas A. Bell of Dunbar Township, Pa.
In addition to her mother, Doris Hawkins McElroy, Shirley was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Marie Bucci Bell, of Dunbar Township.
The Family will receive Friends in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pa., today from 1 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, December 19, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held with Rev. Fr. J. Edward McCullough officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
