Bethany Ann Hudak of Smithfield and Jeremy Michael Hughes of Masontown were united in marriage on Jan. 19 at St. Joseph Chapel, Seton Hill College’s campus. The Rev. Mark J. Hudak O.F.M., uncle of the bride, officiated the nuptial Mass.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William J. Hudak Sr. of Smithfield. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hughes Jr. of Masontown.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an ivory matte satin gown with rum pink accents and fur-lined ivory cape with chapel-length train. An ivory pearl crown held a veil of illusion.

Christine Williams, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Bucceri, Beth Wise, Barbara Young and Dorothy Hudak, sister of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Heather Hudak and Danielle Hudak, sisters of the bride.

Best man was William Joseph Hudak Jr., brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Aaron Hughes, brother of the bridegroom; Nicholas Hudak, brother of the bride; Bapatope Ogunmala and Mike LaBarge. Junior usher was George Hudak, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the Jewish Community Center, Uniontown.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and a 2000 graduate of Seton Hill College with a degree in music education. She is choral director of Jefferson-Morgan Junior-Senior High School.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and a 1998 graduate of Toledo University with a civil engineering degree. He is a civil engineer with Fayette Engineering.

The couple honeymooned at the Poconos, Hershey and Pittsburgh.

They are residing in Masontown.
