Charles B. Aspinwall
Charles B. Aspinwall, 91, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 13, 2002. He was preceded in death by his spouse of 40 years, Betty Hyde Aspinwall.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Robert Lipp Jr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Maryanne Aspinwall; grandchildren, Jason Aspinwall and wife, Vickie, Ben and Mike Aspinwall, Robert Lipp III, and Charles Lipp and wife, Tricia; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Leah Aspinwall and Davis and Ethan Lipp; and many other relatives and friends, especially Allen and Jo Achbach and the St. Charles “Breakfast Club”.
Charles retired from the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Mines in 1973, was a volunteer at Kettering Medical Center for 20 years, and was an avid golfer.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., today at St. Charles Borromeo, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering.
Friends may call today from 10 to 10:30 a.m., at the church. Private interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity and his golfing buddies should “Hit ’em down the middle and tell a few tales and lies”.
