Andrew Albert Gajan, 75, of Bentleyville, Ohio, died Friday, August 22, 2003. He was born November 30, 1927 in Brownsville, Pa., son of Joseph Paul Gajan and Susanna Kapraleik Gajan.

“Andy” served in the United States Army during World War II.

“Andy” was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters, Mary Zidek, Joseph Gajan, Helen Jefferies, John Gajan, Frank Gajan, Margaret Wallach, and Anka Spitek.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Shirley Parshall Gajan; daughter, Lori Gajan and her partner, Larry Gaylor, of Lyndhurst, Ohio; and son, Andrew Gajan and his fianc?e, Christina Hughes, of Blue Bell, Pa.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, August 25, until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, California, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Mark A. Skertich as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, Pa.
