Thomas Edwin Lewis, 66, of 27 South Richhill St., Apt. No. 1, Waynesburg, Pa., died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at his residence. He was born Sept. 25, 1937, in Palmer, Pa., the son of the late Alvie James and Sarah (Pinkney) Lewis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Lewis; a sister, Virginia Demko; and twin sons, in infancy.

He was a serviceman and worked for the U.S. Government. Thomas was Protestant by faith.

Thomas was in the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Joyce (Dunham) Lewis; a daughter, Robin and husband, Sandford Dillenger of Masontown; a son, Christopher Lewis of Clarksville, Pa.; two daughters, Coletta Cermak of Clarksville, Pa., and Rachel Cermak of Clarksville, Pa.; a brother, Alvie Jim and wife, Kay Lewis of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Winona Ruffner of Lewistown, Pa.; a brother, George and wife, Ann Lewis of Carmichaels, Pa.; and a sister, Mary and husband, Paul Tickner of Uniontown, Pa.

Friends will be received today from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of service in the funeral home chapel, in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church on 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., with the Rev. Randy Byers officiating. Interment will be in West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton, W.Va.
