Terry T. Martina
Terry T. Martina, 50, of Grindstone, Pa., died Thursday, March 13, 2003 at his home. He was born September 22, 1952 in Brownsville, Pa., son of Elizabeth Mare Baron Martina of Crescent Heights, Pa., and the late James Martina.
He was a member of The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, Pa., and The Greater Uniontown Chorale.
He graduated from California High School, Class of 1970, and California State College (now California University of Pennsylvania) in 1974, and was an Alumni of Theta Xi Fraternity.
He was employed in PNC Financial Services having offices in Uniontown, Connellsville, and Rostraver.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Michele Matanin Martina; a son, Shawn Martina, Pittsburgh, Pa., and his fiance’, Danae Brentzel, Jeanette, Pa.; a daughter, Kristin Martina, California, Pa.; a brother, Gerald Martina and his wife Lynne, Cherry Hill, New Jersey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andrew and Veronica Matanin of Grindstone, Pa.; Special Godson, Brian Romano, Stroudsburg, Pa.; beloved Dog and Best Friend, Dylan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, March 17, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, PA 15417.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.
