William H. Berwick Jr.
William H. Berwick Jr., 78, of Hopwood, Pa., died Saturday, April 24, 2004.
He was born June 4, 1925, in Bluefield, West Virginia, son of William H. Berwick Sr. and Emma K. Higinbotham Berwick.
“Bill” was a member of Connellsville Street Church of Christ in Uniontown, Pa.
He was retired from Bell Telephone Company with over 36 years of service.
“Bill” was a Veteran of the United States Air Force who served in both World War II and the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Hilling Berwick; two children: Donna Tressler and husband Almon of Hopwood, Pa., and David O. Berwick at home; one grandson, Dustin Tressler; and a brother, Orville Berwick and wife Joan of Elkton, Maryland.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation continues Tuesday, April 27, in CONNELLSVILLE STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST, 519 Connellsville Street, Uniontown, Pa., from 10 to 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Al Aubrey officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Hopwood, Pa.
