Credit Management Co. has named Melissa Zurich as marketing director. She is responsible for overseeing the communications, advertising, public relations and marketing information functions.
Zurich, a Perryopolis native, has more than 10 year’s experience in creative and technical marketing functions for the consumer, chemical and financial industries. Previously she held the positions of marketing services group manager, vice president at WSFS Bank in Wilmington, Del.; marketing information systems manager, assistant vice president at Wilmington Trust Co. in Delaware; and project manager, vice president at chemical market resources in Houston, Texas. Zurich received a bachelor of science degree in marketing while attending Penn State University and completed MBA coursework at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Renne wins sales award
David S. Renne of Medford, N.J., formerly of Uniontown, has received the Golden Eagle Award for top international sales of the year. He is a media consultant with Valassis Communications Inc.

The son of John D. and Doris Renne of Byrer Avenue, Renne was a former advertising and marketing director for the Herald-Standard Newspaper, president of the Greater Uniontown Chamber of Commerce, president-elect of Rotary Club and served on several boards including the United Way, the Salvation Army and YMCA.

Bus chartered to farm show
The Fayette County 4-H Livestock clubs will sponsor a chartered bus to the 2005 Pennsylvania Farm Show on Jan. 10, 2005. The one-day trip will leave from the north end of the Laurel Mall parking lot at 4 a.m. and return about 9 p.m. Laurel Mall is located just off Route 119 between Connellsville and Uniontown. William Gallagher, retired extension educator, will lead the bus trip.
Admission to the Farm Show is free, and special attractions scheduled for Jan. 10 include: Open Beef Cattle Judging, Junior Market Swine Classes, Cooking Demonstrations, Family Living Demonstrations, Vo-Ag School Demonstrations, acres of exhibits, crafts and an improved food court featuring Pennsylvania produced entrees.
The cost for the bus trip is $25 per person, payable to “Fayette 4-H Livestock Clubs” and payment must be received in the Extension office by Jan. 3, 2005.
