Mary C. DiGuglielmo
Mary Christine DiGuglielmo of Grindstone, Pa., died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1917, in Wilmerding, Pa., daughter of the late John and Maria Caldriri Maffasanti.
Mary and her husband, Dom were the owner of Dom’s Foodland in Grindstone, Pa.
She enjoyed her Cabin at Deep Creek Lake, Md., with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Dominick A. DiGuglielmo; three children, Beverly Lapp and husband, Chuck of McDonald, Pa., Ronald DiGuglielmo and wife, Lois of Grindstone, Pa., and Donald DiGuglielmo and wife, Ellen of Uniontown, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Ronald and wife, Keri DiGuglielmo of Brownsville, Pa., Michael DiGuglielmo and Scott DiGuglielmo, both of Uniontown, Pa., and Carly Lapp of McDonald, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Vito Reck.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 6 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. Cecelia R.C. Church of Grindstone, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. John Sedlak as celebrant. Entombment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Partner Parish Rosary Confraternity will recite the Rosary on Friday at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Grindstone Lion’s Club.
