Jo Anne Fox
Jo Anne Fox died Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Stafford and Helen Beal Stafford. Jo Anne was a graduate of Uniontown High School and a lifetime member of Pleasant View Presbyterian Church. She was a past member of the Uniontown Service League and recipient of the ‘Brace for An Ace’ Award given by the Fayette County Easter Seals Association.
Jo Anne is survived by her husband, George W. Fox; her daughter, Susan Beth Fox of Winterville, North Carolina; two brothers, Jim Stafford of Stuart, Virginia and Lyman Stafford of Dorsett, Ohio; and three sisters, Alice Potraz of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, Nancy Hamernik of Downers Grove, Illinois and Belle Miller of Westlake, Ohio.
Jo Anne wanted to express her thanks to all her friends for their comfort and support through the years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Thursday, December 28, 2006, from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue from 10 until 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, Smock, Pa., on Friday, December 29, followed by a service celebrating Jo Anne’s life at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Conover officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant View Presbyterian Church.
