Theft reported Tyler Benefiel, 21, of Tub Run Road, Confluence, told state police Monday that someone removed a Glock handgun from his car while it was parked at Mt. View Plaza.

Harassment reported
Brownsville police arrested Margaret Scott, 35, of Uniontown in two separate incidents at the same location. On March 7, she was charged in an incident on Jan. 31, when she allegedly called a man several times on the telephone and then showed up at his South Hills Terrace residence and destroyed the cable television connection there. She was charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, and stalking. Scott was taken to the Fayette County Prison and placed on $5,000 percent bond. She was previously arrested on Feb. 28 and placed on $12,000 percent bond for defiant trespassing at the same location.

State police charged Ronald Simpson, 47, of Uniontown, with harassment, after an incident at 258 Edison St. when Simpson allegedly struck his 13-year-old stepson.

Gasoline stolen
Employees at the Dairy Mart on Dixon Boulevard reported to state police Wednesday that someone driving a dark-colored Pontiac pumped $15.95 worth of gasoline and left the store without paying.
Brownsville
Complaint filed
Catherine Guerrieri of 320 Pearl St. told Brownsville police that two male juveniles entered her yard Tuesday and opened the door to her dog’s kennel. She reported that the boys proceeded to allow their two pit bulls into the cage and tried to get their dogs to fight Guerrieri’s dog, police said.
