Donald E. Solomon
Donald E. Solomon, 52, of Dawson, Pa., passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, Pa. He was born March 30, 1954, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late George Solomon and Mary Louise Swendell Solomon, and his wife, Vicki Hardy Solomon, who survives.
Donald worked for Anchor Glass for 30 years, presently with Target Stores, Inc., he was also a sub custodian with the Connellsville School District, a member of North Union Fireman’s Club, Independent Slovak Club, Connellsville Juniata Sportsman’s Club, and he was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Hardy Solomon; brothers: George Solomon of Linhurst, Ohio, Jim Solomon and wife, Regina of Uniontown; sister, Mary Jo Gates and husband, Howard of Coral Springs, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Rick Kieta of Vanderbilt; special pets: Potter, Foster, Buster, Baby and Bear.
Predeceased are his brothers, Bill, John and David Solomon.
A visitation will be held on Friday, at 12 to 8 p.m., in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., services will be held on Friday, September 8 2006 at 8 p.m., Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
