Emma Jean Sterrett, 84, of Scottdale, Pa., passed away Friday, February 9, 2007, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, Pa. She worked for years as a seamstress at the Mt. Pleasant Sportswear and the former Scottdale Casket Factory. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School with the class of 1942.

Surviving are her brother, William Sterrett and wife, Beverly of Iron Bridge; a sister, Mary Ella McConnell and husband, Frank of Bullskin Township; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Sterrett of Scottdale; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, Pa.
