Emory James “Jim” Barczy Sr.
Emory James “Jim” Barczy Sr., age 70, of North Huntingdon, Pa., died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Mercy-Jeannette Hospital. Born November 21, 1936, in Lemont Furnace, Pa., he was the son of the now late Elizabeth and John Barczy Sr. and brother of the late Helen Barczy Wagner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen B. Muchnok Barczy; children: Emory James Barczy Jr. of North Huntingdon, Pa., Carol Ann Barczy of Imperial, Pa., Sharon Lee (and Joseph) McAndrews of Kennedy Township, Pa., and Edward Stephen Barczy of Indian Trail, North Carolina; loving grandchildren: Melissa Ayoob, Carolyn McAndrews and Liam McAndrews; siblings: Julia Buhaly of Greenock, Pa., Rosemarie (and Adolph) Noga of Elizabeth Township, Pa., and John (and Lois) Barczy of Elizabeth Township, Pa.; nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.
Friends will be received today and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O’Neil Boulevard, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-664-4489). A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Pius V Roman Catholic Church, Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, with the Rev. Fr. Edward S. Litavec as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the New Saint Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles, Pa.
