Connellsville Connellsville police cited Louis Edward Brenchi, 53, of Connellville following an argument with others and police in the 200 Block of East Fairview Avenue. Brenchi will appear before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty, Jr. at a later date.

Dunbar Twp. Hangar damage

State police said someone damaged a doorknob at a hangar at the Joseph A. Hardy Connellsville Airport between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 9:34 a.m. Thursday.

Springfield Twp. Harassment

State police reported Thomas Sparks, 20, of Mill Run allegedly punched someone in the head and damaged the driver’s door of their vehicle Saturday at 12:50 a.m.

Wharton Twp. Simple assault

Aaron Murphy, 26, of Fairchance told state police several people jumped him in the parking lot of the National Pike Bar Friday at 9:30 p.m. and punched and kicked him in the head several times before fleeing.

Georges Twp. Stolen vehicles

State police said someone stole the burned frames of a 1999 Ford Expedition and a 2001 Volkswagon Cabrio owned by Jay Matthew Jordan, 41, of Smithfield between 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Saltlick Twp. Window broken

Lawrence J. Rule of Saltlick Township told state police someone broke the front passenger window and front windshield of his 2007 Chevy Cobalt while parked at 431 Imel Road in Normalville between 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.

Police said the damage appeared to be caused by a pellet gun.

Springhill Twp. House vandalized

State police said someone broke a window in a residence at 4891 Morgantown Road owned by Tecora Mae Rogers, 70, of Dublin, Ohio, between 1 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Friday.

North Union Twp. Warrant issued

State police issued an active warrant for the arrest of Raymond Mitchell Robinson, 30, of Uniontown following a domestic altercation Friday with a 22-year-old after he physically assaulted and caused recent injury to the victim.

North Union Twp. Charges filed

State police filed charges against Christopher Taylor, 24 and Cindy Rankin, 25, both of Uniontown, for simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief from an incident at 400 Third St. on Wednesday at 10:50 a.m.

According to police, Rankin got into an argument with Jamie Taylor, 26 of Uniontown when Christopher Taylor allegedly punched Rankin in the face several times.

Police said Christopher Taylor then threw a cinder block, damaging a vehicle owned by Ryan Griffith, 27, of Uniontown.

South Union Twp. Money stolen

State police said someone stole $350 from a vehicle owned by Robert Allen Avenengo, 56, of Masontown, Thursday between 5:55 p.m. and 7:48 p.m. while it was parked at Hutchinson Park.

Markleysburg Market cited

State police cited G&W Superette, 160 Main St., with violations concerning alarm devices and automatic dialing systems after it allegedly exceeded the allowable monthly false alarms for July. The store is permitted five false alarms each month, said police.

Springhill Twp. IPOD stolen

A 13-year-old girl from Fairchance reported to state police that someone stole her IPOD during a party July 21 at a residence on Morgantown Road.

North Union Twp. License plate stolen

Gerald Stepanik of Uniontown reported to state police that someone removed the license plate from his vehicle while it was parked at a location on Oliver Road between 9 p.m. July 24 and 1 a.m. July 25, said police.

Brownsville Car damaged

A resident of Catherine Avenue reported to police that his vehicle was damaged about 9:30 p.m. July 27. The resident said that he heard a loud noise prior to finding the damage and suspects juveniles.
