Charges against Denbo man held for court

By The 1 min read

All charges filed against a Denbo man accused of holding a Uniontown woman against her will at a residence in Searights in June were held for court Wednesday. State police Trooper Marc A. Ziegler said Robert Eugene Grow Jr., 22, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment.

Following a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning, George held all charges against Grow to Fayette County Court.

Ziegler said the incident occurred between midnight and 2:30 a.m. June 22 at 510 Village of Searights.

He said Grow allegedly held Roxanne Childers, 27, against her will at the residence.

During the time she was held there, Ziegler said Grow held her against the floor and punched her more than 20 times in the face, back, ribs and arms.

Childers suffered injuries as a result of the attack.

Grow was placed in the Fayette County Prison following the hearing Wednesday.
