McClellan wins Classic

Butler Country Club’s Robert McClellan ran the table, shooting a 74 in the final round Tuesday for a three-round total of 210 to win the Falling Rock Classic at Mystic Rock. McClellan won $15,000 for his first-place finish.

Oakmont Country Club’s Bob Ford finished alone in second place after shooting a 1-over 73 for a three-day total of 213. Wheeling Country Club’s Jason Martin was third with 215 (71-75-69).

Willowbrook Country Club professional and Geibel Catholic graduate Brian Dunaway shot a 73 in the final round for a three-day total of 228. He shared 30th place with Sleepy Hollow Golf Club’s Jonathan Clark.

Greensburg Country Club’s Jim McGrath finished tied with Harmony Ridge Golf Club’s John Mazza in 44th place. McGrath closed with an 80 for a three-round total of 239.

Nemacolin Woodlands’ Dennis Clark was 55th with a three-day score of 255 (80-89-86).
