Georges Township man behind bars after firing gun at woman
A Georges Township man is in prison after police allege he fired a round from a pistol at a woman sitting on a couch inside his mobile home Saturday evening.
State police Trooper George Mrosko said Donald Fouch of 17 Price Road was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with recklessly endangering another person and illegal possession of a firearm.
Mrosko said the incident occurred when Fouch and Marnita Louise Garcia-Fouch got into an argument around 8:40 p.m.
Mrosko said that during the argument, Donald Fouch fired a single round from a handgun at Marnita Fouch. The bullet struck the wall about 3 feet from where she was sitting, Mrosko said.
Mrosko noted that Donald Fouch is prohibited from owning a firearm because he is a convicted felon.
He also noted that the handgun and a shotgun were discovered in the living room of Donald Fouch’s residence.
George placed Donald Fouch in Fayette County Prison on $50,000 straight cash bond following his arraignment.
A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date before Magisterial District Judge Randy S. Abraham.
