1 min read

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Maple Garden Apartments, a 36-unit building for independent older residents on North Gallatin Avenue in Uniontown, will be held at 10?a.m. Friday.

Fayette County Community Action Agency Inc. (FCCAA) and PIRHL Developers of Ohio partnered to develop the $7.2 million project at the corner of North Gallatin Avenue and Lincoln Street, the former site of American Legion Post 51.

?The building features one and two bedroom apartments that are available to people 55 years old and older. Amenities include multiple community rooms, two large outdoor patios, an exercise center, computer room and storage and laundry rooms on each floor.

Maple Garden Apartments follows FCCAA’s and PIRHL’s 2009 completion of Uniontown Family Homes, a development of 30 single-family lease-purchase homes in the city’s East End.

NDC Real Estate Management is managing the building. Leasing information is available by calling 724-550-4143.
