Lottie Almeda (MacBurney) Collins

Lottie Almeda (MacBurney) Collins of Uniontown and formerly of Nemacolin, Pa., passed away peacefully Sunday, April 14, 2013 with her family by her side at the Uniontown Hospital.  She was born February 25, 1936 to Evelyn and Alec MacBurney.

‘Mom’ had a soft spot for animals and wanted to rescue any furry four legged feline that would cross her path. Her compassion for animals lives in the hearts of her children.

She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Carmichaels, Pa.

In addition to her parents, Lottie was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack; and a sister, Peggy.

Surviving are her five children: Renee (Kevin) Holland of Fort Worth, Texas, Jackie (Paulette) Colontone of Kent, Ohio, Kevin ‘Jack’ Collins of Renton, Washington, Veronica (Bob) Snyder of Uniontown, Pa., and GiGi Allison, Uniontown, Pa.; and only grandson, Christopher Collins.

There is a private service scheduled for family only.
