Joan E. (Gibson) Malaspino, Graduated from German Township High School, Class of 1958
Joann E. (Gibson) Malaspino, 76, of Chalk Hill, Pa., passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 21, 1940 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of George Gibson and Susie Bowers Gibson.
Joann was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Uniontown, Pa., where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Senior Bible Study Group
She graduated from German Township High School, class of 1958.
Joann worked as an Emergency Room Technician for 21 years at Uniontown Hospital.
She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Donald David Malaspino; three brothers, Gordon Gibson, Garnet Gibson, Ralph Gibson; and two sisters, Evelyn Griber and Edith Means.
Left to cherish Joann’s memory are her husband Donald Malaspino; sons: Jeff Malaspino and wife Donna of Chalk Hill, Pa., and Brian Malaspino of Chalk Hill, Pa.; and four grandchildren: Chelsea, Ashlee, Brandon, Jeffrey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA.
The family will receive friends at the BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH, One Evergreen Terrace, Uniontown, on Thursday, January 12, from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon followed by a Service Celebrating Joann’s Life at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Dale Reddick officiating.
Interment will follow in Acklin Cemetery, Merrittstown, Pa.
The family suggests donations to be made to the Bible Baptist Church, 1 Evergreen Terrace, Uniontown, PA 15401.
